IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS: |
A heavy duty hub with bearing is supplied. The nut has to checked and tightened after the first 24 hours of operation and again checked, tightened and greased with maximum 14 days intervals. Do not over tighten but ensure bearing sits tight in housing without any lift or play. Ensure wheel can still turn freely. |
IMPORTANT: Tighten sifter box to base after one hour of operation and check again daily. |
Check V-belt when checking hub. Do not over tighten. A too tight belt may cause the motor shaft to snap. |
IMPORTANT: Check fibre glass rods are tightened daily. Check for slippage. |
Ensure sifterbox and base is completely level. |
Do not attempt to work or adjust to sifter at all when moving. Ensure machine is withoout power before working on it. Check twice. |
